Librarians/Reading Groups

As a former library aide and volunteer, Sherrilyn loves libraries and reading groups, and is more than happy to support both any way she can. If you’d like to book an appearance or event, or request promotional materials such as bookmarks, posters, etc. please contact Alexis Saarela, Associate Director of Publicity of Tor. Likewise, if you’re a reviewer for a library, website or magazine, please contact Alex if you’d like to receive a review copy of Sherrilyn’s books.

If you’re a librarian needing information about Sherri for an event you’re hosting, please see the Press Room link where we have her photos and all the latest info in a printable format.   If you need a copy of her event guide for events, please contact Alex who will gladly forward it to you.

From time to time, Sherrilyn holds special contests for reading groups and librarians. If you’d like up to date information on that, please join her newsletter.

If you’re part of a reading group or you’re a library hosting a reading group event for Sherri’s books, please feel free to use one of the discussion guides below.

Thank you so much!

  • New Orleans Tour

Take a tour of New Orleans and some of the prominent locations that appear over and over again in the Dark-Hunter and Chronicles of Nick series. For those of you visiting the city, please feel free to print it out and take it with you.

  • Atlantean God Family Tree

This is a list of the Atlantean gods that Sherrilyn Kenyon created and uses in her Chronicles of Nick and Dark-Hunter/Were-Hunter/Dream-Hunter series. More profiles for the individual gods can be found under the character section of this site. Please remember that Apostolos is Acheron.

  • Letter To A Bully

This is the excerpt from Inferno where Brynna begins the Anti-Bully Brigade with a letter to a bully. Since so many have asked about getting a copy to share with others, we’ve provided it here, along with a personal message from Sherri.

  • Infamous Disussion Guide

This is a 21 question reading group guide to aid in the discussion of Infamous for use in the classroom, library, and reading groups. Please feel free to reproduce in its entirety or excerpt for these purposes.

Please note that this guide contains a lot of spoilers for anyone who hasn’t read Infamous.

  • Reading Is Fun Posters

These are free for schools, libraries and classrooms (fans, too). Each poster features the book cover with an emblem that promotes both the AAB (Anti-Bully Brigade) and reading. For a sample of the posters, please visit the gallery section of the website.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Download the size poster that you need (each one has it’s dimensions in the title i.e. 8X10 is an 8″X10″ poster that will print on regular paper from any printer, or 11″X17″ or 18″X24″ which will require larger paper or can be printed at any Kinko’s or UPS store) from the list to your home computer.

Please note that due to the large size of the poster file, it will download as a compressed, .zip file.

    2. Open the .zip folder from where you downloaded it and you will see the poster graphic.

    3. You won’t be able to open the file while it is still in the .zip folder. You will have to click and drag it out of the folder in order to use or view it.

    4. Print it and display it wherever you want to spread the word that we all need to take a stance against bullying no matter who the victim is.

    Thanks!
