Each object can only be wielded by one born of the chosen bloodlines and descended from the original Cymerlin (it will not work if stolen from them). If it is in the hands of its owner from birth, they are never aware of it or their powers, unless they’ve been told of their destiny. If the object falls out of their possession, it will slumber until it reawakens at the touch of the bloodline. At that time, both the merlin and the object will be jolted with a reconnection as their powers unite. And the object masquerades as an ordinary, everyday item.
To hold guardianship of a Fey object is a sacred duty for in the hands of the Damned Ones, it will spell the end of all mankind.
Out of all the objects, the most powerful and coveted of all is the Grail Cup. So powerful, it is held in trust not by one Cymerlin, but by thirteen chosen Grail knights. Each one has a single clue that only he or she knows. They do not know the identity of one another. Only the Penmerlin knows who they are. And they are to guard their clues until Draig, Arthur’s one true heir, awakens to fight Mordred for his final battle. The Thirteen Objects are:
1. Excalibur: Sword created by the fey for good. The one who wields it cannot be killed, nor can he bleed so long as he holds the scabbard that sheaths it.
2. Hamper of Garanhir: Created in order to feed the Pendragon’s army while at war. Put in food for one, and out will appear food for one hundred
3. Horn of Bran: Given as a companion for the hamper, this horn is a never-ending cup that will provide wine and water for any to drink from it.
4. Saddle of Morrigan: A gift to the Penmerlin from the goddess Morrigan, this will enable a person to go instantly wherever they desire. It was created so that the Pendragon would be able to oversee his kingdom with ease. No distance or time is too great. It can move a person from one continent to another or from one time period to another.
5. Halter of Epona: Given by the goddess Epona, the halter, if hung on a bedpost at night will grant the one who possesses it whatever horse he desires in the morning.
6. Loom of Caswallan (Sword of Darkness): Able to weave a cloth so strong that no mere mortal weapon can penetrate it.
7. Round Table: It holds at its center a great magic. One that when combined with other sacred objects is capable of rendering its wielder invincible.
8. Stone of Taranis: A gift from the god of thunder. Should a knight sharpen his sword with this stone, it will coat the blade with a poison so potent that even a tiny scratch from the blade will bring instant death.
9. Mantle of Arthur: A gift from the Penmerlin, this will enable the wearer to become invisible to everyone around him or her.
10. Orb of Sirona: Created by the goddess of astronomy, this will enable the person who holds it in their hand to see clearly on even the darkest night. It also enables the merlin to see the past, present and future.
11. Shield of Dagda (Son of No One): Whoever holds the shield of Dagda will be possessed of superhuman strength and so long as the shield is held in place, they cannot be wounded.
12. Caliburn (Sword of Darkness): Long ago in a land that was lost in turmoil, there was an enchanted sword that had been forged by the hands of the fey. Imbued with their power and nurtured by the soul of the goddess Britannia, it was said that the sword would grant immortality and superhuman strength to any who wielded it. Even the scabbard that protected the sword was special. So long as a man wore it strapped to his hips, he would never bleed. It was a sword that could not be broken. Nor could it be defeated. But as with all things of great power, there were those who feared it. Those who sought to destroy this sword only to learn that nothing forged by the fey could be destroyed by mere mortal hands. Fearful of who would one day command its magic, its owner sent it out into the world with a sole guardian who imbedded it deep into a boulder. For years it lay fallow in the heart of the darkest forest of Britannia, unseen and unknown, and protected by a spell that would only allow one person of special birth to draw it forth from its resting place. They hid it well hoping that it would be lost to the world of man forever. The gold on the pommel parted slowly to reveal a red dragon’s eye. It stared at him for a full heartbeat as if measuring his worthlessness. The blade of the sword glowed red, then turned to fire. 13. Holy Grail: No one is quite sure what it is or where it came from. It is the greatest object of all for it can bring the dead back to life. More than that, it grants total omnipotency and omniscience.

A cursed race, the Stone Legion is under the command of Garafyn. By daylight, they are ugly gargoyles who are forced to sit as stone (they can only move if they are commanded by the one who bears their emblem), but at night, they can move about freely and under the light of a full moon, they can again take the form of handsome warriors and knights–but only so long as the full moon touches them. Should they leave its light, they will immediately return to their gargoyle state. There are those who say there may be a way yet to lift their curse, but so far all those who have tried, have met with failure and death.
The Stone Legion isn’t the only race that inhabits the realm of Camelot. There are also the graylings, a twisted group of fey who were cursed to serve their more beautiful counterparts, the Adoni. More beautiful than any creature alive, the Adoni are truly evil to their core. They lack all mercy and all compassion. Graceful and slender, they will stop at nothing to bring the world of man to its knees.
