Menyon of the Month

This was too hard to answer on Twitter and since a few peeps asked, I came
over here to explain it in more than 140 characters :) Menyon is a term the bbs
members came up with years ago to describe themselves. They were originally the
Kenyon Minions. Another fan merged it to Menyon and we've been using it since
for the die hard fans who've helped spread the word about my books. We started
Menyon Awards awhile back to honor fans who go above and beyond to show their
love of my various series.



The Menyon Award is a place of honor on the website, FB and MySpace where we
post pictures of fans showing their love of any of my series. A couple of months
ago, to further show my appreciation of the fans, I started a Menyon of the
Month. What we do is each month, we randomly draw one of the Menyons from the
Menyon Award photos and we feature them in the newsletter as a way of saying
thank you.



To add to that, Kim and I came up with the Menyon of the Month keychain that
we'll be sending to the members who are featured in the newsletter. Again, as a
way of saying thank you for all you guys do to spread the word about my books.
You guys rock. Only Menyons of the Month will get the keychain. It's an
exclusive award to show appreciation for that extra effort fans go to.



Anyone who wants to be entered in the monthly drawing only has to submit a photo
of something you and or a friend or friends have done that feature one of my
books or series. It can be something as simple as a birthday cake with Ash's
symbol on it. A decorated shelf in your home. Or complicated like your car
bearing the symbols, a theme party based on my series. or Heather's corsets. For
